Now I know the Web Developers/Designers out there are going to check practically all of them so let me put it this way, which Browser(s) do you use OTHER than for testing your website?

And if you have any preference one way or another feel free to state them!

I use Firefox almost exclusively, but I use IE 7, Safari and Opera from time to time for testing or when a site doesn't render properly in Firefox.

I have IE 8 (RC1) at work for testing and becoming familiar with it before it is released and the rest of the company upgrades to it. I find it slooooow compared to Firefox plus Firefox has a large number of neat add-ons.

On my Linux boxes I include Opera (if it's Gnome-based) as a backup.

If the Linux box has KDE on it, I try and use Konquerer exclusively but keep Firefox for compatibility issues.

I heard Google's Chrome "phoned home" with information when it first came out and haven't heard that the practice was stopped so I am avoiding it at this point.

I haven't looked at Google Chrome either... It's based on the same rendering engine as Apple's Safari browser and it accounts for less than t 1% percent of page views on my web site.

    If anyone's curious here's the stats (Jan 1, 2009 thru February 26, 2009)

    Browsers
    Internet Explorer 7.0 37.78%
    Internet Explorer 6.0 26.34%
    Firefox 3.0 20.49%
    Safari 525 4.92%
    Firefox 2.0 3.51%

    Operating Systems
    Windows XP 66.22%
    Windows Vista 16.86%
    Mac OS X 7.32%
    Windows 2000 4.92%
    Linux i686 1.48%
