Since computers can be used in so many different ways, everybody does something different with their system.

For example, at home my most used applications are :
    • Firefox for browsing
    • Thunderbird for email
    • OpenOffice for presentations and documents
    • Picasa for digital pictures
    • Synaptic for keeping my system up-to-date
    • Pidgin for instant messages (MSN, AIM, Yahoo! and IRC)[/list:u]

Of course there are a number of applications I Want to get time to fool around with, such as
      • Monodevelop (for writing in C# and VB.NET)
      • Xara Xtreme for SVG graphics
      • Adobe Flex
      • PostgreSQL database[/list:u]

At work, of course, the list is a little different:
        • Firefox
        • IE 8 beta
        • Visual Studio
        • Adobe Acrobat
        • Crystal Reports
        • MS Office 2007
        • Outlook 2007 (with an Exchange back-end)
        • Paint.NET for image-manipulations (not as powerful as Adobe Photoshop but powerful enough!)
        • MS Visio
        • MS SQL Query Analyzer and Enterprise Manager (for our MS SQL Server)
        • Remote Desktop[/list:u]

What applications do YOU use the most?
