Ubuntu 10.04 LTS release delayed

    The release ISO is being re-spun because of a late-found bug . They chose to re-spin and release a fixed ISO than to push ahead with a bad image.
    This isn't the first time a release is pushed back. Fedora was pushed back significantly in one of the last 4 or 6 releases (2-3years).

    It's Released!

    Ubuntu 10.04 LTS will be supported for three years on desktops and five years on servers. Ubuntu 10.04 Netbook Edition will be supported for 18 months.
