London Stock Exchange to abandon failed Windows platform

    Whoops! Microsoft looses another one!

    Note, though, there are no facts related to the failure revealed that it was Windows that was the cause. But if out of three products only one of them does not offer to run on Linux AND that is the one that fails that still doesn't look good for the big guy!
    Anybody else have articles or hears of companies abandoning Microsoft-based solutions for Linux ones? Post them here and keep this thread a growing list!

    Most institutions involved with trading are on a linux or unix platform on the server side. The front end (terminal) is typically Microsoft based.
