LightZone Photo Editor for Linux

    If you are looking for an alternative application for images any you are willing to pay for it, I just ran across an application called LightZone. It also handles a number of camera's RAW formats.

    It's also Photoshop compatible, though I wish it was Gimp compatible though depending on how it is "Photoshop compatible" it may be Gimp compatible by default?!

    It's by LightCraftsand this is good news that a company is supporting the Linux operating system.

    As Linux gains in popularity I think we'll find more of these type of applications available which is a plus for Linux users everywhere. If there is enough of a benefit for these guys, maybe Adobe will have to start porting Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash (not just the player) and more to Linux!
