Looking at getting a Netbook (Dell Mini 9, Acer Aspire One, Lenovo S10, etc.)? With the holidays approaching fast you may be able to get one (or receive one) at a great price.

If you are like me, whether I use a small screened laptop or a large widescreen desktop I want the application to take as little room as possible and maximize the content portion (like the webpage). So with the small wide screens of netbooks, what is one to do?

    Use Firefox.

There is an add-on called "Classic Compact" which shrinks the buttons, tabs and space along the top of the application to give you more content real estate!

This even works with full-blown versions as well.
