Gnome 3 Released!

    Gnome 3 has been released, and now Linux distributions are slowly moving to offer it. Even Ubuntu, who is working on the similar-but-almost-a-fork Unity will offer Gnome Shell via a PPA.


    To try it out you can download the live CDversions of Gnome 3 running on openSUSE or Fedora, or openSUSE 11.4 offers an optional installation with Gnome 3 and Fedora 15 will be running Gnome 3 by default when it is release later next month (May 2011)
