Organizations websites widely use Google Calendar to display their monthly events. But Google Calendar seems to have changed in the past couple months to now requiring cookies be enabled to view. Website event calendars I've long visited without issue now appear instead as only their blank backgrounds, until I enable cookies on Firefox.

I'm less likely to visit those sites as a result.
Is there a cookie-haters' alternative to Google Calendar to recommend to webmasters? What is DACS .org using? - I can view DACS' calendar with cookies disabled

I know of none. You will not convince any web programmers to use such a cookie-less calendar because websites are integrated wholes and cookies are the glue. Anything from Google has always required cookies. You may have been able to get away with blocking them in the past. These days Google Analytics is a required resource for websites that want to be findable so cookies are inevitable. If you want stuff from the web, you must give up a little in return. Get over it.
