This month I related my experience at DrupalCamp NYC (http://groups.drupal.org/nyc/drupalcampnyc8) which was held at the NYU-POLY Brooklyn Campus, in (you guessed it) Brooklyn, NY. After many years of wondering, I finally saw the Kosciuszko Bridge on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. I paid a $10 donation for my ticket which covered food at both breakfast and lunch. There were three tracks of concurrent sessions and sometimes it was hard to pick. I attended sessions aimed at new Drupal users plus two sessions on using CiviCRM with Drupal. Slides from most of the presentations are linked on the page above. Another DrupalCamp (http://groups.drupal.org/node/80774) is planned for New Haven, CT. Following my epic story, we discussed progress on the new dacs.org website. The next Drupal SIG meeting will be Thursday, September 9th at 7pm in the DACS Resource Center.
